Land, Road and Sky
Land, Road and Sky is a recent project following my eyes during a quick roadtrip with my roomate. We traveled from the east side of the state to the west on track to my brother’s farm just north of Grand Rapids. We experienced multiple seasons and encountered  life and death. Many of the images were photographed through a car window,  creating multiple textures and colors that explore the passage of time. Others were snapshots of my brother’s farm,  a place that is healing and secluded.  I created this series as an exercise in awareness and gratitude of my surroundings, something I find very hard to do at this point in my life.
