Biography
Jaclyn Jeannine Iskow is an artist based in Detroit, Michigan, currently completing her BFA in Photography at the College for Creative Studies. Her work explores the body, memory, and technology, using performance and photography to question how identity is shaped through relationships and digital culture. Through humor, vulnerability, and transformation, she examines what it means to perform and preserve the self.

Some notable exhibitions Jaclyn has particpated in were represented by The Scarab Club,  Detroit Artists Market, and PH21 Gallery in Budapest.  Her photographic thesis and book, Iczkowicz: The Modern Philosophy of a Woman is a recipient of the Imre J Molnar Artistic Achievement Award. Additionally, Jaclyn’s images from her collaborative project, Viscera, with Teilo Wessells  have been published in Vogue Italia’s Photo Vogue

Outside of her visual practices, Jaclyn has experience performing in and producing a variety of short films written and directed by Sam Tricomo. These filmic projects have toured in film festivals across the United States including The Great Film Festival in Los Angeles (2024),  NFFTY Film Festival in Seattle (2025), and HorrOrigins Film Festival in Tuscon (2025). She was also a creative producer on the short film Skinned (2024), written and directed by Toronto-based filmmaker, Camden Abdull.

Jaclyn is currently working on her second series of self portraits titled Iczkowicz: Glass and Stone. This project is an extension of her previous conversations about identity and includes a collection of literary works.
